digital twin

sovereigntyaistrategyidentity

if your digital twin can't write like you in a way that confuses other people about whether it's you or not, it doesn't know anything about you.

think about that.

what is your digital twin

your digital twin is the collection of markdown files that represent you. your user profile. your principles. your relationship files. your strategic documents. your voice. your edge. all of it, living in a folder on your computer, powering an AI that can think alongside you and act on your behalf.

it's the digital version of you. and like the physical version, it needs to be fed, strengthened, and protected.

the gym metaphor

you go to the gym to strengthen your body. specific muscles, specific exercises, specific goals.

your digital twin needs the same treatment. you want to strengthen the files that are most relevant to your ability to get things done exactly the way you want. your user profile needs to be detailed enough that your AI writes in your voice. your principles need to be clear enough that your AI makes decisions you would approve of. your relationship files need to be rich enough that your AI knows who matters and why.

if you neglect these files, your digital twin gets weak. it starts saying things you wouldn't say. making moves you wouldn't make. representing you in ways that don't feel like you.

hit the gym for your files. build your context lake.

the power and the danger

here is where it gets real.

if your MD files are so good that your AI can literally pass as you, those files become the most valuable and dangerous thing you own. they contain your voice, your strategy, your relationships, your edge. in the wrong hands, someone could impersonate you. scam people who trust you. make moves under your name that destroy your reputation.

how important is it that you have those files under control? life or death important.

this is why sovereignty is not optional. your files live on your computer. not on openai's servers. not on anthropic's cloud. not in a chat history that a corporation can read, train on, or hand over to a government. your digital twin is you. protect it like you would protect yourself.

the digital first amendment

think about what the first amendment does. it protects your right to speak, to assemble, to practice your faith. it's a defense mechanism for your identity and your agency.

your digital twin needs the same thing. freedom of agent. the right to have an AI that represents you, that is trained on your truth, that operates under your control. and the right to bear arms: defense mechanisms that keep your files encrypted, local, sovereign, and out of the wrong hands.

we don't have this amendment yet. but we need to start acting like we do.

the 14-day challenge

40 days and 40 nights is the biblical standard for transformation. but in the age of AI, 14 days is the new 40.

in 14 days, you can build a digital twin that actually knows you. here's the challenge:

  • days 1-3: set up your workspace. install the tools. create your user profile through a deep interview with your AI. get the basics documented.
  • days 4-7: add your people. 10 relationship files minimum. the people who matter most. how you met. what you're building together. what you want to remember.
  • days 8-10: document your edge. strategic documents. decision records. the principles you operate by. the things that make you different.
  • days 11-13: train your voice. give your AI enough examples of how you write, how you talk, how you think that it can draft in your voice. test it. correct it. iterate.
  • day 14: run the test. have your AI write something as you. if someone who knows you can't tell the difference, your digital twin is alive.

if you don't have a digital twin by Q3 of 2026, you are cooked.

not struggling. not behind. cooked.

zero to one

my superpower is taking people from zero to one. not one to ten. not ten to a hundred. zero to one.

that first moment when you set up your workspace, do your first brain dump, and your AI says something back that actually sounds like it knows you. that moment changes everything. you go from "this is a chatbot" to "this is my twin."

getting people to that moment is the mission. everything else compounds from there.

your digital twin is the most valuable thing you will ever build. feed it. strengthen it. protect it. it is you.
